Getting started

Your farm buddy sets up your account.

There is no sign-up form, and that is on purpose. An account only works once your farm and ponds are on the map — so a Netzero AQUA farm buddy visits you, records the details, and hands you your login there and then.

How it works

Three things happen, in this order.

All three need someone on site, which is why the account cannot come from a form.

Already registered but cannot sign in? Use your mobile number rather than your email — many farmers are registered with their buddy's email address. Still stuck? Your buddy can reset the password for you.

    A buddy visits your farm

    They cover your district and know the area. They record your details and the farm's — survey number, area, water spread — the things the Coastal Aquaculture Authority asks for.

    They map your ponds

    Standing at the farm, they trace each pond on a satellite map. Those outlines are what the water-quality readings are measured against, so they are drawn on site rather than guessed from an office.

    You get your login

    A mobile number and a temporary password, given to you in person. You change the password the first time you sign in. If you have no email address, that is fine — your buddy's is used and you sign in with your mobile number.
